Whilst in New York we’re staying in this big apartment.
That’s not our bus, our bus is bigger (by 2’6″)…
…but this sofa is definitely bigger than ours.
Reservations at Mad46 at the Roosevelt. Looking out South along Madison Avenue.
Don’t jump Stuart you know you can’t fly (it’s a story we’ll post another day)
Stuart could quite get to enjoy this…
…but we have theatre tickets. Something Rotten was a very good show, although Stuart would have preferred more bananas and less omelettes.
Riding the old escalators at Macy’s shopping for things…
…like an entire wall of Chocolate. How can Stuart can even think of food after Donuts and Street Food? Although there’s always room for chocolate covered pretzels.
It’s busy in here.
Time to plan an escape. There’s a gauntlet of perfume sales ladies to be run. To duck and dive dodge and weave to avoid smelling of flowers by the end of it.
A quick photo outside Uncle Adrian’s shop, but we’re looking for tall things this afternoon.
Tall things, not underground things!
Trying to find the Empire State; it’s up there somewhere.
Found it in Bryant Park, hiding behind the Bryant Park hotel with it’s dark bricks and gold detailing.
One more famous tall building; the Chrysler Building. Stuart likes this one as it’s properly pointy and has gargoyles. Modern skyscrapers are so boring because they don’t have gargoyles.
Dough on West19th between 5th & 6th Avenue. Contemplating a hibiscus, cafe-au-lait, Nutella and pecan and espresso
Feeling slightly fat…
But it gives enough energy to get to Madison Square Park and the food fair where there are nachos, dim-sum, lobster rolls and chicken wings are all there to be eaten.

Stuart had better walk that off r he’s not going to fit on the plane home!
Bags packed, passports to hand…
