Trains at the Smithsonian

Jorge is happy, he likes trains.

And there are lots of trains here. This is an old Wild West one like they’re going on next week.

This is a big green one…

…and this is a Chicago commuter car. We’re off to Chicgo tomorrow on the overnight train so we might even ride in one if these for real.

Monuments

Right at the heart of Washington DC looking towards the Washington Memorial

Playing amongst the columns of the Lincoln Memorial.

A White House. He says that one day all of this will be his and he’ll plant It full of Banana and Bapple trees.

Jorgetown

GeJorgetown is a quaint suburb of Washington that has an English Country town feel to it.

It’s oldest house is 250yrs old; which isn’t really that old.
It also has a canal just like home.

Downtown

Battery park to see Lady Liberty. Dave’s got the pose but he’s lacking the torch, crown and tablet.

A brief stop at the winter gardens for a candy.

Where’s Dave?

The new tunnels alongside 1 World Trade. Somewhere between Gaudi and Geiger; Dave thinks he’s been swallowed by a whale.

The Highline

Dave’s turn for a trip out. First stop of the day is the Highline.

They’re yellow but they’re not fellow minions.

Dave doesn’t want to obey the rules!

Looking out down West 23rd.
