Esrum Sø

Quite a staircase to climb down…
…before Jorge can survey the baronial hall at Egelund Castle.

There’s a big forest behind the house. Jorge was hunting for the Troll Stone but couldn’t find it. It turns out that he walked right past it; obviously no Trolls beneath the stone or the would have jumped out and tried to eat him.
At the end of the forest is a lake called the Esrum Sø.

Egelund Castle

Stuart might want his secret underground lair but Jorge has found a very nice Danish stately home.
Not too small, but not too big… It’s just that Jorge is a little minion!

Not too shabby on the inside.

Looking good around the back…

Nice view down to the lake.

Stuart won’t have that view from his underground lair!

Frankfurt

It’s not all shopping for secret lair equipment, The Boys have been sightseeing in Frankfurt too. Dave on the bridge over the river Main,
Looking back across the river towards Frankfurt’s skyscrapers.

Dave facing off against The Bear and The Bull outside the Borse; the German Stock Exchange. Jorge was a little confused as to why a stock exchange is named after beetroot soup until it was pointed out to him that beetroot soup is called Borsch. Jorge retorted that it gives him wind anyway.

Stuart plans his secret lair…

It will not have walls of pictures because they are soooo boring.

It will have cool chairs and moody lighting. The green button will do something really awesome like launching rockets or revealing hidden trapdoors.

It will not have awkward medieval spiral stairs it will have escalators.

These notes have been added to Stuart’s list and he intends to start excavations real soon… Just as soon as he’s persuaded Jorge to do all the digging.

POD

The Heathrow PODs carry people (and small yellow Minions) from parking to the airport terminal.
There’s room for three boys on the seat.

But it’s more fun to look out the windows…

At the other pods going by.  When Stuart orders a fleet of these for his secret underground lair he needs to makes sure that the buttons are more accessible.

Kelham Island

The boys are in Sheffield for the day.

Stuart has found the most powerful working Steam Engine in Britain. Don’t be deceived it’s as high as a three storey building.

1200 horse power from three giant cylinders that are over a meter in diameter. When it runs a full speed the whole building shudders.

A Bessemer converter. Several tonnes of steel and fire clay balanced above Jorge. When running there would have been flames and sparks shooting out of the top.
